IT Support Specialist- Pickering Office

Position Location: Pickering Ontario

Start Date: December 2018/ January 2019

  • The IT Support Specialist will be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing IT related issues. Prioritize, investigate and resolve issue in timely manner
  • Provide training to users on software and hardware as needed.
  • Install, maintain, evaluate and upgrade all computer hardware and software.
  • Participate in planning, development, and management of all Network services, programs, and support in collaboration with the RCM US Corporate IT
  • Provide high quality care of customer service
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
  • Monitor and maintain IT System
  • Maintain inventories of company equipment such as, cell phones, WiFi stick and laptops
  • Other duties as required


  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field of study such as IT Infrastructure, computer science or etc.
  • Organized, self-motivated, customer-oriented and be able to work well independently
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to interact well at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in tight deadlines, work well under pressure, and respond rapidly to changing demands
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access a plus

Nice To Have:

  • Experience administrating/maintaining software
  • Knowledge of .Net and C#
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access and VBA

Working Conditions:

  • Fast paced environment, repetitive computer work
  • Minor lifting or moving up to 20 lbs. may be required
  • Interaction with various persons/clients internal and external, requires mental dexterity and attention to detail
  • Some travel may be required
  • Overtime as required
